Cathcart & District Housing Association (CDHA) provides housing and support services to tenants in the Cathcart and surrounding district areas. Cathcart & District Housing Association is a community controlled housing association and local members make up the board of management.
Our aim is to make the community a desirable place to live. We have 279 houses in the local area and manage a further 279 on behalf of Glasgow Housing Association.
This association is one of 16 seeking second stage stock transfer from GHA and it is hoped that over the course of 2009 we will move closer to owning the GHA stock inour area subject to a positive vote on behalf of the GHA tenants and GHA and the Scottish Housing Regulator approving our 30 year business plan.
We continually seek to acquire sites for development in the area in order to satisfy a housing demand as determined in the Local Housing Strategy.
